It is amazing how little the eye needs to find a concept within an abstract image. Here, a peony is oh so subtly visible in the soft layers of ink. Delicate blush, minty greens, smoky grays and gentle golds seem to coalesce to offer the perfect vision of the famous bloom. Smoky champagne frames play off these beauties off perfectly.
A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.
