An impressive series of watercolour and pen drawings by Robert Jacob Gordon on his 1778 exploration of South Africa. Through the discovery of his journals we see the breathtaking detail of each bird reflected through the eyes of a true explorer with a love of nature.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

The studio frames the print behind glass, in the moulding named under Frame.
