About this piece
Barberi Sketch a series of 8 images, explores classical architecture through fluid linework, economical mark-making, and the immediacy of the sketching process. Domes, pavilions, columns, and ornamental details are reduced to their essential forms, creating drawings that balance careful observation with spontaneity and gesture. Rooted in the traditions of architectural draftsmanship, the series emphasizes drawing as a tool for exploration and visual thinking. Visible construction lines, abbreviated details, and expressive washes reveal the process behind the image, celebrating the enduring relationship between architecture, design, and the art of sketching.
