Clipper Ship – Odin
$349
About this piece
These historical portraits of 19th Century ships were originally constructed with embroidery and silk-work. The sails and rigging were built from thread and silk into a kind of low-relief version of a ship in a bottle. Take time to enjoy the exquisite details including lighthouses on shore, cutter boats, and carefully embroidered flags atop the masts. Finished with a slim white-painted frame with a distressed edge.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

Keep it out of direct sun and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms.
