About this piece
Cottage Gulls pairs a set of 2 carefully observed seabird studies with decorative, nature-inspired design. Delicate illustration, open space, and branch-like framing elements draw attention to the elegance of the birds while creating a composition that feels both refined and inviting. Inspired by the tradition of natural history illustration, the series combines close observation with thoughtful composition and subtle surface texture. Through its blend of ornithological study and decorative presentation, Cottage Gulls celebrates the enduring appeal of coastal wildlife and nature-inspired art.
