About this piece
This romantic pair of landscapes are rendered in soft neutral tones of gold, grey and taupe. The French artist Jean Honore Fragonard was a master of light and shadows. The figures and statuary are dwarfed dramatically by the use of overarching trees or columns. The beautifully distressed appearance of these classic pieces creates a grand impression.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

Dust the glass and frame with a dry microfibre cloth. If the glass needs more, spray a little glass cleaner on the cloth, never on the glass.
Keep it out of direct sun and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms.

Got this for my home office and the colours are softer and warmer in person than on my screen. Took a little longer to arrive than I hoped, but worth it.

We moved into a new place and this was the first thing we hung and the greens work with the view out the window. Ordering the matching piece next.
