River Landscape, C. 1851
$299
About this piece
A serene landscape in oil on board, soft ripples of a river, strong reflections of trees, and a wide sky with fluffy clouds create an almost mystical scene of quiet contemplation. Thick paint, muted tones and areas of light and shadow evoke a feeling rather than a mere description.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

Dust the glass and frame with a dry microfibre cloth. If the glass needs more, spray a little glass cleaner on the cloth, never on the glass.
Keep it out of direct sun and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms.
