About this piece

State Fair is a series of four vintage-inspired rodeo posters, available as Framed Canvas, Gallery Wrap Canvas, and Under Glass in large, and small. Drawing from the tradition of early 20th-century fairground advertising, the artworks combine bold typography, weathered textures, and dynamic western imagery to capture the energy of travelling rodeos and agricultural fairs. Each composition features bucking horses, riders, livestock, and fair advertisements rendered in a colourful illustrative style. Large block lettering dominates the upper portion of the designs, while the action-filled scenes below create movement and visual excitement. Warm creams, faded reds, golden yellows, and touches of blue give the series an aged appearance, enhanced by distressed surfaces, fold marks, and worn edges that recreate the character of historic printed posters. The artwork reflects the graphic design techniques commonly used in vintage lithographic advertising, where strong colours and dramatic imagery were used to attract attention from a distance. The series highlights craftsmanship, storytelling, and the enduring appeal of vintage poster art through its expressive imagery, bold design, and authentic weathered aesthetic.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

The studio frames the print behind glass, in the moulding named under Frame.
