About this piece

This series of 2 images depict a calm, natural landscape using soft, muted tones and layered textures that create depth and atmosphere. The earthy browns, greys, and subtle blue tones suggest land, water, and sky, while the visible brushstrokes and rough edges add a sense of texture and realism. The inclusion of trees in the foreground helps ground the scene and draws the viewer into the space, creating a stronger sense of perspective. The large, open sky and smooth transitions between layers contribute to a quiet, reflective mood, making the landscape feel peaceful and still. These images capture the simplicity and beauty of nature while emphasizing texture, depth, and a sense of calm isolation.
