About this piece

In house artist Jessie Nev combines botanical illustration and collage-inspired design in playful compositions filled with flowers, curling vines, butterflies, and seed forms. This set of 2 layers textures, hand-drawn outlines, and paper-like shapes create a handcrafted quality, while winding stems guide the eye through the arrangement and establish a sense of movement and connection. Drawing inspiration from botanical art, collage, and decorative traditions such as Art Nouveau, the series balances close observation of nature with imaginative design. Through stylized florals, organic linework, and layered forms, Whimsy Flora celebrates the decorative beauty and rhythm of the natural world.

A giclée is printed with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper, so the colour holds for decades indoors.

The studio frames the print behind glass, in the moulding named under Frame.
